Titan Poker names latest ECPT qualifier

Titan Poker has confirmed that Frenchman Thierry Barou has become the latest person to win a $3,000 (£1,500) seat for the upcoming EuroCity Poker Tour (ECPT).
The Kahnawake-licensed online poker room has been running a number of exclusive satellite competitions to send a contingent of gaming enthusiast to the ECPT Madrid Open.
Just 200 professional poker players are allowed to take part in the invitation-only tournament, including 30 representatives sent by event-sponsors Titan Poker.
Commenting on his success with the gaming house, Thierry said: "I invite all players to try. Everything is possible and, as you can see, you can have a very good day where nothing bad can happen to you."
The seasoned poker enthusiast has previously won the $80,000 first-place prize in the operator's Refer a Friend Freeroll, as well as bagging $75,000 for finishing third in Tournament Titan.
His ECPT prize package includes the 1,100 euro (£860) buy-in as well as travel, accommodation and spending money.
